The unglamorous work of running a home

Every household keeps books, tracks income, carries debt, and owns more than anyone can remember. We are building a specialized app for each of those jobs, designed from the start to share what they know with one another.

Where the money actually goes. Everyday bookkeeping for a family, in plain language instead of accounting jargon.

Shift and wage tracking for the earners in the house, feeding a live projection of what is genuinely coming in.

Student loans and other long-horizon balances, folded into the same financial picture instead of stranded in a separate portal.

A record of what the household owns — starting with clothes and closets — so you know what you have before you buy it twice.

Small on purpose

Six commitments that decide what gets built and, more often, what does not.

One problem per app

Each app does a single job completely rather than four jobs partly. If a feature belongs somewhere else, it goes somewhere else.

Connected by design

Specialization only works if the pieces talk. Sharing data between apps is the starting assumption, not a later integration.

Private by default

No advertising, and we do not sell your information. We intend to charge for the apps instead — an honest trade you can see.

One account

A single sign-in opens every Squegger app, so moving between them never means another password to invent and forget.

Plain language

A household is not an accounting department. The software should say what it means without a glossary.

Built to last

Boring, durable technology and a deliberately short feature list. We would rather ship less and still be running it years from now.
